Here at Island Foods, we are a family run business all about building and maintaining a long standing reputation as a traditional butcher, where traditional methods continue to mean first class quality and exceptional value for money.
We are looking for a confident Office Administrator to handle all incoming calls with an excellent, helpful manner as well as getting stuck in with other office administration duties.
Daily, you will be picking up the phone and chatting with our retail customers as well as assisting with the wholesale side of the business; therefore, you will need a brilliant telephone manner and always be ready to take orders and deal with any enquiries.
Your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Taking telephone orders
- Processing orders
- Customer service queries
- Record keeping
- Cash Handling
- Allocating payments
- Sending statements
- Inputting supplier invoices
The Person
- MUST have previous experience working in a busy office environment
- Good knowledge of MS office, word, excel & outlook and able to learn new software systems quickly. Knowledge of Xero would be an advantage.
- Good customer service skills.
- Excellent written & spoken communication skills.
- A good organiser.
- Accuracy & attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
The hours would be Monday 9am – 3pm, Tuesday 9am – 4pm, Thursday 9am – 3pm, Friday 9am – 4pm and Saturday 8:30am – 12:30pm (30 hours in total).
Wednesday and Sundays would be your days off, as well as most bank holidays.
