A private house with extensive gardens, paddocks and woodland, as well as three cottages for holiday letting requires a Maintenance and General Handyperson following retirement of current employee. There is a year-round requirement for estate maintenance including fences, hedges etc.
Key responsibilities
- General building maintenance and repairs
- Basic decorating
- Machinery and other equipment use and maintenance including tractor, trailers, utility vehicle, mowers, strimmers, hedge cutters etc
- Support for gardeners and woodland contractors including lawn mowing
- Swimming pool maintenance
- Coordination of weekly arrival of seasonal holiday guests including liaison with cleaning staff
- Support for stables operating a DIY horse livery
