Food & Beverage Manager
We are looking for an experienced individual to manage all aspects of the food and beverage operation of our busy and vibrant sailing club ensuring a high standard of service whilst meeting financial targets.
Our historic clubhouse is one of the finest venues on the Isle of Wight with wonderful views over Bembridge Harbour. Our Food and Beverage Manager will play a key role in delivering our growing year-round events activities for members and non-members.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Food & Beverage Manager with a proven track record of managing both front and back of house. We are seeking clear and concise communication skills, experience of managing costs, ability to recruit and motivate a team and create a strong teamwork ethic.

Requirements
- Strong commercial awareness and experience
- A positive service-focussed approach
- Ability to recruit, train and motivate the service team
- Strong insight for attention to detail and consistency
- Understanding financial aspects of running a successful food & beverage operation
- Proficient in managing point of sale systems
- Health & Safety qualification desirable
Responsibilities
- Hire, train, evaluate & manage full and part time bar and dining room staff
- Manage the bar, cellar stocking, product range and pricing
- Maintenance of bar equipment, china, glassware & linen stocks etc
- Ensure that our food & beverage operations meet budgeted targets
- Costing club events and functions
- Develop strong working relationships with club members and guests
