FiPL Project Officer - IW National Landscape

22 hours per week

The Isle of Wight National Landscape Partnership is seeking a dynamic individual to take on the role of Farming In Protected Landscapes (FiPL) Project Officer (part-time).

With soaring chalk downs, heathland, ancient woodland, soft cliffs, rivers, wetlands, wide sandy beaches and magnificent seascapes, the quality of the Island’s landscape has wooed royalty and inspired poets and artists through the ages. Now is your opportunity to make a difference in this unique and treasured landscape.

The purpose of the post is to assist the current FiPL Officer with advice and guidance to farmers and administration of the FiPL programme. Liaison with partners, funding organisations and local and national agencies, both on and off the Island, will be required to take forward new projects and initiatives to enhance the designation for wildlife, climate and people.

22 hrs per week fixed until 31st March 2029

Based at IWAONB offices at Branstone Farm Park, Sandown
