French Franks is a busy business, serving simple fresh food and barista standard drinks made to order at our sites across the Island.   

We are seeking an ethusiastic and energetic colleague to join our amazing team, this role will be based at and mainly working at Newport St Cross  (on the new Industrial Estate behind the Hospital).

Eating ‘on the go’ is part of the way we live, our mission is to meet the demand making sure food we serve is enticing and tasty and quick. We champion local and fresh produce and are engaged with our customers and the communities in which we operate, we also aim to lead in all areas of sustainability.

Work is demanding, there is lots to learn, it is a varied physical and fast paced day (super fast lunchtime)  on your feet.  Colleagues need to thrive in the buzz of a busy day in a fresh food business and the interaction of the customer environment.    If this is your scene catering rarely gets better than this.

• Permanent, year round role - we would consider 4 or 5 shift availailability.
• Sociable day time hours (shifts vary) earliest start 07:30 - latest finish 3:15pm.    
• One weekend work day is is required.
• Contracted regular hours - min 30 hours, (pro rata if 4 days).
• Small friendly team in a family business.
• Stable and plannable rotas.

Please note that you need to be able to reliably get to work, the site is a 20 minute walk from the town centre or 10 minutes from St Marys  Hospital bus stop.   A successful applicant will also be required to work in Newport town or Cowes store when needed.
