The Steamer Inn is recruiting experienced bar and front of house staff for the season.

The Steamer Inn is a busy, family friendly sea-side pub right on Shanklin Esplanade. Our team are passionate about serving fresh, and delicious food and drinks, and delivering excellent, friendly customer service. We are now looking for experienced full-time bar and waiting staff to join us for the busy season.

Although this will be a fixed term contact until the end of October there may be the opportunity for some new team members to join us permanently after the season has ended.

About the role…

Working a mixture of shifts including evenings and weekends you will be greeting and serving our customers in a busy and dynamic environment. We aim to ensure all our customers are happy during their visit so enjoying giving great customer service is essential to this role.

What we are looking for…

• Someone with solid experience in both waiting and bar work in a similar, fast-paced environment.
• Able to think on your feet in a speedy, dynamic environment
• You will be motivated with a positive can-do attitude towards your work.
• A Confident, friendly, and genuinely enjoy working with people
• A willingness to learn new things
• Somone who enjoys working as part of a team as well as independently when the need arises.
• Flexible regarding your work availability, including some evenings and weekends

Due to our location and opening hours having your own transport, or living locally would be an advantage.
