Front of House Staff

Main responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Use a till to take orders and payments.
  • Handle cash.
  • Serve customers at the bar or at the table.
  • Keep the bar clean and well stocked.
  • Give advice on drinks and meals to suit customers' tastes.

Front of House Supervisor:

As Front of House Supervisor you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Restaurant and Dining Areas.

Main duties:

  • Assist House Manager and Management Team in the planning, organisation and execution of events.
  • You will be required to coordinate the operation of the Restaurant ensuring that kitchen, bar and waiting staff are working as a team.
  • Recruit, train, manage and motivate staff
  • Meet and Greet customers, organise table reservations and offer advice about menu and wine choice.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and quality control.
  • Check stock levels, order supplies and prepare cash drawers and petty cash.
  • Responsible for the tidiness and cleanliness of all Front of House areas, and likewise responsible for the back of house areas used by the Front of House Team.
  • Ensuring that the Waiting and Front of House staff are smart and well presented at all times and conforming to company uniform policy.
  • Maintain Team Checklist and ensure that all daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and cleaning duties are carried out to sufficient standard.
