Come and join one of the Island's leading hospitality groups. We are looking for a Cleaner & Housekeeper at The Chequers Inn.

This role will be at The Chequers Inn, Rookley. With your own transport essential due to the early starts.

We are currently looking for an energetic individual with great attention to detail to join our team, cleaning our pub and rooms.

At Wight Pubs we are very proud of our rooms, having won a number of awards over the past few years and keen to keep the high standard of both friendly service and cleanliness we currently have.

Hours as follows:

Tuesday: 7am-9:30am pub clean

Wednesday: 7am-9:30am pub clean

Thursday: 7am-9:30am pub clean

Sunday: 7am-1pm pub and B&B rooms clean

*Plus holiday and sickness cover at all of our venues if the applicant is willing. 

If the applicant wanted to start slightly different to the times listed above, we are happy to be flexible, as long as the pub is clean before 10am open, and the rooms are ready for 2pm check in. 

Training provided. Experience will give an advantage, but is not essential - a "can-do" attitude and enthusiasm to learn is highly desirable for this role.
