The Role
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Wine Specialist / Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in hospitality and has a genuine interest in wine, food, and delivering exceptional service.
While previous experience in a fast-paced hotel or restaurant is beneficial, it is not essential—full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide knowledgeable advice on wine selections and food pairings
- Deliver outstanding service across our restaurant and bar areas
- Maintain and manage the wine list, including stock rotation
- Assist with ordering, storage, and inventory management
- Support wine tastings, events, and special functions
- Collaborate closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams
About You
- Passionate about hospitality, wine, food, and drinks
- Committed to delivering memorable guest experiences
- Friendly, positive, and professional in approach
- Able to work efficiently under pressure
- A strong team player with a willingness to go the extra mile
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- WSET qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Experience in a busy hotel or restaurant environment is an advantage
