 Charity Tech Co-ordinator

An opportunity to join the Friends of the Animals team as our Charity Tech Coordinator. Every day brings something different–from writing appeals and producing eye-catching posters, to pitching in where needed–so you’ll play a key part in keeping the Charity moving forward.

What you’ll be doing:

·         Design work: Making posters, leaflets and digital content using Canva.

·         Beacon CRM: Creating fundraising campaigns, data entry including logging donations, and helping us stay organised behind the scenes.

·         Writing & comms: Writing urgent appeals for animals in need and sending them out via Mailchimp. Creating thank you letters, videos and keeping the website updated with blog posts and stories.

·         Helping with animals: Updating microchips and keeping the “Wants list” current for people hoping to adopt.

·         Admin & phone work: Answering calls, issuing neuter/spay voucher codes, and handling all sorts of queries from the public.

·         Driving jobs: Moving donated stock between shops, running errands, or helping with event supplies.

·         Shop cover & events: Occasionally covering shifts in our Newport Charity shop, joining in with fundraising events, and helping with street collections.          

What we’re looking for:

• Someone who’s calm and friendly on the phone.
• You must be comfortable with IT tools like WordPress, Canva and Mailchimp.
• Confident driver (clean driving licence essential).
• A genuine love of animals and a willingness to help wherever it’s needed is required.

This is a busy role with plenty of variety, so we need someone adaptable who’s happy to turn their hand to whatever the day brings.
