We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Engagement Officer to join our Fundraising Team who believe in positive challenge.
The main purpose is for you to generate income and awareness through community engagement including challenge events, community fundraising & events and local donation campaigns. This vital role will support the fundraising team to raise targeted income to transform the lives of thousands of young people each year through UKSA’s development programmes.
The ability to have excellent relationship management with multiple stakeholders, strong organisational skills, IT skills and effective communication are paramount to this role.
Key roles:
- Develop, plan and attend a schedule of community fundraising events to generate income and awareness.
- Research and identify community groups that you can approach to support UKSA.
- Support individuals, community groups and small companies to organise their own fundraising events to support UKSA.
- This role will require some unsociable hours, including weekends for planned events, UKSA operates a ‘time off in lieu’ policy.
- Develop, plan, coordinate, promote and deliver a schedule of national and local challenge events to host or enrol UKSA into.
- Support a pipeline of opportunity to approach the organisers of existing IOW events promoting as a beneficiary charity.
