About you

As a Food and Beverage Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our guests. Working closely with the Café Manager and other team members, you will ensure that our customers have a memorable experience.

The skills you will need:

• Experience working in a fast paced, busy environment;
• Experience basic food preparation, front of house experience;
• Enthusiastic approach to work;
• Food Hygiene certificate or willing to work towards;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work on own initiative;
• Ability to manage and respond to customer needs and feedback;
• Working in target driven environment;
• Working on the till, card machine, cashing up;
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Your Duties

•  Provide excellent customer service to all guests, greeting them warmly, and attending to their needs promptly.
• Assist in the preparation and service of food and beverages according to company standards and recipes.
• Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests or dietary requirements are communicated to the kitchen staff.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner, adhering to all hygiene and safety regulations.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in all areas of the restaurant, including dining areas, service stations, and back-of-house areas.
• Set up and clear tables efficiently, ensuring a smooth flow of service throughout the dining experience.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately, processing payments and issuing receipts as required.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Assist in stock management, including restocking of supplies and inventory control.
• Uphold the organisation standards and values at all times, contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests and colleagues.
