We have the opportunity for a Kitchen Crew member to join our Catering team on a casual basis.
UKSA’s Kitchen Crew role plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in food preparation and ensuring smooth operations
Key duties include:
- Clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Ensuring all cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and utensils are clean and fit for use
- Keep the kitchen and storage areas clean and tidy at all times.
- Ensure kitchen appliances are in good working order, reporting any faults.
- Assisting in the cleaning of the kitchen, dining room and stores
- Assist with basic food prep tasks, such as peeling, chopping, salads or washing vegetables.
- Organise ingredients and ensure they are stored properly, following food safety guidelines.
- Preparation of pack lunches and boat packs, including making sandwiches, baps etc.
The ability to work flexibly is essential as the kitchen team work on a rota basis; this will include some evening and weekend working.
