We are very excited to have the opportunity to recruit a part-time Vounteer Co-ordinator.

This role is 21 hours per week (ideally across 3 days)

This role is subject to enhanced DBS check and the post holder needs to be a driver with use of a vehicle

You will join our passionate and experienced team of staff, trusttees and volunteers to help make a big difference to the lives of Island families.

We’re looking for a passionate and proactive individual to lead on volunteer recruitment and engagement at Home-Start Isle of Wight. This role is all about making volunteering more accessible,flexible, and inclusive—connecting with new audiences, developing creative volunteer roles, and ensuring every volunteer feels valued and supported. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of volunteering within our organisation, building a strong, diverse network of people who are ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local families.

From piloting flexible roles like term-time or micro-volunteering, to developing accessible online training and creating a vibrant, supportive volunteer community, your work will ensure our volunteers feel welcomed, valued, and equipped to make a real difference in the lives of local families.

You’ll also play a key role in building sustainability, sharing your learning across the Home-Start network and contributing to long-term strategies for growth and funding.
