Computer Services Technician

Ryde School is a co-educational independent day and boarding school for children aged 2-18 years old. We are currently looking to appoint a Computer Services Technician to provide technical support for the ICT infrastructure that is provided for all staff and pupils at the School.

Key responsibilities of the role will include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, as well as creating and maintaining ICT documentation and guides. This will be achieved through the application of relevant IT qualifications or experience in cloud environments, with the ideal candidate able to demonstrate:

  • Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management with a proactive mindset

Knowledge of Google Workspace, Chromebooks and Windows 11 would be an advantage, alongside the fundamentals of networking. Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and develop are essential to the success of this role.
