We’re looking to strengthen our Bar Team!
As our lead Bar Team Member, you’ll be a key part of our business. We need people who enjoy an incredible F&B environment to serve outstanding drinks to our guests.
We have a world class and somewhat exclusive cocktail menu and are making friends for live with returning guests. Our Expanded range of our own recipe locally distilled spirits add a new dimension to our drink menu.
Recently introduced Gin and Jazz events are building on our unique premises as we establish a credible reputation as the hidden secret revealed.
Our Bird Bar is something different as a critical element in our eclectic and luxury lounge bar environment presenting a cabaret lounge feeling plus our Upper Deck mezzanine with its own character as we surprise and delight our discerning guest clientele.
The recent final stage of our hotel development increased our room capacity by 40%, the opening of Barbossas Italian Pizzeria on the ground floor and the soon to open Pinnacle Fitness Studios are resulting in a Stay, Play, Shop, Eat and Drink destination in the centre of Cowes. If you are management material with a hands on can do attitude this may be the stepping stone into a core senior operations team.
Your day to day;
• Greet each one of our valued guests with a genuine smile
• Proactively attend to all facets of operating a top class bar service
• Taking and serving drink orders with the help of A.I.D.A
• Helping to clear and lay tables in the bar area
• Support any other areas of F&B if needed
• Giving our guests the warmest hospitality and ensuring they want to return!
Who are we looking for?
You will be a sociable person who is comfortable starting a conversation with anyone, have a flair for hospitality and like seeing happy customers.
Cocktail and wine knowledge would be advantageous, as a Bar Team Member, a passion for quality drinks is a must. It would be ideal if you have previous experience in a bar, café or restaurant however a great work ethic and an even greater personality is much more important.
You will need to be proactive and ensure the smooth running of the day to day operations of the bar.
Our business is multi faceted and open all day every day so you will need to be flexible with the times you can work.
