We’re looking for a dynamic, quality-focused professional to take on a pivotal new role at the heart of our college’s commitment to excellence. As our Lead for Quality Assurance and Improvement, you’ll be the go-to expert for ensuring our teaching, learning, and assessment meet the highest standards—across further education, higher education, and apprenticeships.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Championing quality assurance and improvement across all programmes
· Leading audits, observations, and deep dives to identify and drive best practice
· Supporting staff through coaching, mentoring, and training
· Acting as the college’s main contact for awarding organisations and quality bodies
· Using data insightfully to inform decisions and shape continuous improvement
· Ensuring we’re always inspection-ready and ahead of the curve

· A qualified teacher with assessor and IQA credentials
· A confident communicator and collaborator, able to work across teams and levels
· A strategic thinker with a forensic eye for quality data and compliance

We are looking to hold interviews week commencing 21st August 2025 and these will be held in person, at Isle of Wight College, Newport Campus.
