Management Accountant - Part time flexible hours

We have an opportunity for a part time Management Accountant to join an award winning and fast growing hospitality business here on the Isle of Wight with several high end venues based both here and abroad.

We ideally need an experienced Accountant or qualified to at least AAT Level 4 (or equivalent), with a good working knowledge of cloud accounting systems as well as excellent Excel skills.

Duties include

• Monthly preparation of management accounts.
• Processing & reconciling.
• Production of annual budgets & re-forecasts
• Reconciling customer and non-direct supplier accounts
• Producing cashflow forecasts, managing & improving working capital 
• Reconciling balance sheet accounts (all non-direct related, including fixed asset ledgers, prepayments, accruals)
• Payroll
• Simplification & automation of expenses, credit cards etc
• Reconciling cash and bank accounts
• Making and managing payment runs
• Preparing VAT Return information for group submission
• Supporting the directors with ad hoc reporting & queries

We are looking for someone with the following:

• Xero accounting experience
• Sage 50 experience would be advantageous
• Experience in hospitality would be an advantage but not essential
• Ability to work in dynamic team working to deadlines.
• A highly flexible approach
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Their own car as the office is not on a main bus route

On offer is a renumeration of £40 to £50k pro rata depending on skills and experience.

This is a part time role working three days a week. Hours and days worked can be discussed on application.
