Are you passionate about supporting local businesses and building strong professional relationships? We're looking for a Membership & Business Engagement Manager to help grow, retain and engage members and patrons through effective relationship management. This varied and rewarding role combines relationship management, business development, member engagement and networking, offering the opportunity to make a real impact within the Isle of Wight business community.

Key responsibilities will include

Leading membership recruitment activity

• Managing membership renewals
• Patron account management
• Generating referrals
• Effective relationship management
• Supporting the networking programme delivery
• Managing the onboarding process
• Developing and implementing retention initiatives
• Maintain ownership of the CRM system
• Delivery of business engagement activities
• Managing sales and co-ordination of advertorial
• Supporting performance and growth of the Isle of Wight Lottery

We're looking for someone who is friendly, proactive and relationship-focused, who enjoys connecting with people and supporting businesses to succeed. The successful candidate will have experience in a customer-facing, membership, account management, business development or similar role, with strong communication and networking skills. They will be highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities, and confident working independently while contributing to a small team. A commitment to delivering excellent customer service, building relationships and identifying opportunities to add value for members is essential, along with good IT skills and the ability to maintain accurate records using CRM systems.
