An opportunity has arisen with Opal Travel in Sandown, who are looking to recruit an apprentice Telesales Operative to join their successful team.
This is an ideal position for someone leaving school or college this summer.
As an apprentice Telesales Operative, you will take on a full-time role with Opal Travel whilst also undertaking the Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner apprenticeship with HTP Apprenticeship College.

The Role:
As a Telesales Operative you will be the voice of the brand, responsible for generating new business leads, closing sales over the phone, and maintaining excellent relationships with the existing client database.
The ideal candidate should have good verbal communication skills, a resilient mindset to handle rejection and a passion for achieving positive results.
Key Responsibilities:
· Outbound Lead Generation: Initiate proactive cold and warm outbound calls to prospective customers to promote the company products/services
· Inbound Sales Handling: Manage incoming inquiries from advertisements or direct marketing campaigns, converting prospects into buyers.
· Pipeline Management: Follow upon warm leads, schedule call-backs, and move prospects through the sales pipeline
· Customer Needs Assessment: Ask targeted questions to understand customer requirements
· Database Maintenance: Accurately input, update, and back up customer records, notes, and possibly payment information in due course
· Customer Retention & Support: Resolve basic account queries, manage complaints professionally and conduct after-sales follow-ups to ensure high customer satisfaction
· Face to Face Customer Relations: Greet Walk in customers & handle enquiries efficiently
Working Hours:
30 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 10am to 4pm
No weekends, bank holidays or evenings
Wage:
The wage will Initially be the Apprenticeship Wage.
