Finance Manager – Quarr Abbey

Quarr Abbey is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to become part of our team, overseeing the financial operations for St. Mary's Quarr Abbey and Quarr Abbey Enterprises. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a historic and community-focused environment.
Location: Quarr Abbey (office-based role)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, spread over 3 days
Benefits: 28 days holiday pay pro rata (with increases based on length of service), staff discounts in our Tea and Farm shop, and access to a staff car park.
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, effective budget management, and compliance with regulations.
- Prepare accurate monthly management reports for St. Mary's Quarr Abbey and Quarr Abbey Enterprises.
- Provide stakeholder reporting for the Senior Management Team, Director of Fundraising and Operations, and external stakeholders as required.
- Manage project finances, including providing business cases, monitoring spending, and evaluating performance.
Candidate Requirements
Qualification: Applicants must possess the Associated Accountancy Technician Level 4 qualification. This credential is essential for ensuring that candidates have the necessary expertise to manage Quarr Abbey's financial operations effectively.
