Vision Accounting are an established, modern and fast expanding Accountancy Practice working with both industry leading companies locally and businesses across the country. We have also expanded into the mortgage and protection sector with the launch of our sister company, Vision Financial.
Due to continued growth in our client portfolio, we are looking for an Administration & Marketing Assistant to join our friendly team. The successful candidate must be ambitious, independent and enthusiastic, and willing to dive headfirst into our busy practice. Contract: Permanent following a three month probation period.
Hours: 08:30 - 17:00 with a 30 minute lunch break. Part time hours can be offered for the right candidate.
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 depending on experience.
Role Description
The Administration and Marketing Assistant will work closely with our Office Manager and wider team to deliver the highest level of service to our existing client base, while managing our inhouse marketing and enhancing brand image for our group of companies.
This is a varied role, encompassing general reception and office administration duties as well as digital marketing and social media activities. As the firm continues to grow, there will be opportunities to contribute to a wide range of projects. With structured growth and development plans in place, this role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and grow with the business.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with the team to provide a high quality, proactive administrative service.
• Act as our client’s first point of contact on the phone and in person.
• Manage and create social media content for both companies.
• Grow our online presence and advocate our brand image.
• Manage incoming post, client records, paperwork and electronic filing.
• Monitor shared inboxes and calendars.
• Assist with the monthly client newsletter.
Technical Requirements:
• Proven experience using social media in a professional setting, or a comparable personal portfolio, is essential.
• Experience using Canva or similar software would be an advantage.
• A strong understanding of digital marketing and online campaigns.
• A natural flare for design and brand awareness
• Have excellent IT and numeracy skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Be proficient in all Microsoft Office but particularly Excel.
Personable Skills:
• Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to provide exceptional service to clients.
• Strong work ethic and the initiative to work independently.
• Positive, can-do approach and is able to work closely with colleagues within a friendly and social office environment.
• Accounting experience is not necessary for this role but an understanding of business or an interest in finance and/or the mortgage industry generally would be an advantage.
