Kitchen Team Member- Prep, Cook and Serve

Location: Blackgang Chine, Isle of Wight
Contract: Seasonal (July-October)
Shifts: Monday to Sunday, 3-5 days a week. Includes weekends and some evenings.

The Role

We’re looking for experienced Kitchen Team members to support our busy food & beverage outlets. This is a hands-on kitchen role, for people who are confident with Food Preparation and Cooking and who enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

While this is a kitchen-based role, you’ll also be part of the wider guest experience — our kitchens are guest-facing in areas, so you’ll need to be comfortable interacting with customers as part of service

You’ll be:

·         Preparing food and ingredients to a high standard

·         Cooking and assembling menu items

·         Maintaining excellent food hygiene, safety and cleanliness

·         Working efficiently in a fast-paced commercial kitchen

·         Part of a fun, supportive team delivering great guest experiences

What we’re looking for

·         Previous experience in high volume catering and commercial kitchens

·         Confident with cooking skills (Grills, Fryers, Food Assembly)

·         Strong understanding of Food Hygiene and Safety

·         Comfortable in a customer facing role
