We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and passionate Breakfast Chef to join our team as we launch a brand-new breakfast and brunch menu. This is the perfect role for someone who wants to make their mark, bring creativity to the kitchen, and help shape a standout brunch offering for our guests.

With excellent daytime hours from 7:30am to 12:30pm, this role is ideal for those looking to balance a professional kitchen career with family life or other commitments.

About the Role

As Breakfast Chef, you will take charge of delivering high-quality breakfast and brunch dishes to a consistently high standard. You will work within established policies, procedures, and food hygiene requirements, while also bringing flair, passion, and pride to each plate you prepare.

You’ll be operating in a fast-paced environment where the ability to handle multiple priorities and remain calm under pressure is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook, and present breakfast and brunch dishes to a high standard
  • Assist in developing and refining the new menu, ensuring creativity and quality
  • Maintain excellent food hygiene practices at all times
  • Follow all kitchen policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Keep your section clean, organised, and compliant with all health & safety requirements
  • Work efficiently during busy service periods, managing multiple orders smoothly
  • Support the wider kitchen team where needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or in a similar chef role
  • Passion for cooking and creativity with brunch-style dishes
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene, kitchen safety, and high operational standards
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Pride in your work, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic
  • Reliability and consistency, especially during busy service
  • Flexibility to work 6 mornings per week
