A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a chef to join the brigade at the Bugle Yarmouth. The Bugle has been owned by the Character Inns family for over 30 years, and is joined by 3 other unique venues across the Isle of Wight with a focus and producing outstanding food offering great value for money.

The successful applicant will need to have a minimum 2 years of experience working in fast paced pub food service and will  join our small highly skilled team in producing high quality pub classics alongside inventive fish and seafood specials in our 16th century coaching inn.

The Bugle is a very busy harbour town pub with 300 seats inside and out, and a recently refurbished 9 bedroom hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook all meals to a high standard.
• Work alongside your colleagues and assist junior team members.
• Ensure exceptional food hygiene, health, safety, and environmental practices.

We require:

• NVQ 2 professional cookery or equivalent experience
• experience as a Chef in a busy kitchen
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Abilty to work under pressure and across various shifts and service 
• setting and maintaining high standards.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
