Full-Time Maintenance Technician

Full Time | Permanent Position

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our friendly team at our busy Isle of Wight hotel.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with good all-round maintenance knowledge who takes pride in keeping a property safe, functional and looking its best.

About the Role

You will be responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of the hotel, ensuring high standards are maintained for our guests and team. No two days are the same, and the role requires someone practical, organised and able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• General repairs and maintenance across guest bedrooms and public areas

• Basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks

• Decorating and minor refurbishment work

• Preventative maintenance checks

• Responding promptly to maintenance issues

• Ensuring health & safety standards are met at all times

• Assisting with larger maintenance projects when required

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous maintenance experience (hotel or hospitality experience desirable but not essential)

• Good general knowledge of plumbing, electrics and building maintenance

• Practical problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks

• A positive, can-do attitude

• Flexibility
