Job summary

Four Corners is a friendly, family run, cleaning and exterior maintenance business based in Carisbrooke and is looking to appoint an exterior maintenance operative to join our small team. The ideal candidate would ideally have a strong background in roofline maintenance techniques, with the ability to work effectively with various materials and tools. This role involves repairing and maintaining rooflines on residential and commercial buildings. The successful applicant will be comfortable working at heights and possess a keen eye for detail to ensure quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• This position will primarily be working within the external maintenance side of the business, but some external cleaning will be involved. 
• Working at height with the use of cherry pickers, tower scaffolds and other access equipment.
• Working with materials/equipment/substances that are potentially hazardous so health and safety procedures must be followed.
• Typical jobs would include, but are not limited to, gutter and soffit replacement and repairs, roofing repairs, insulation, chimney repairs and general roof line repairs. 
• We pride ourselves on delivering quality services to our customers so a strong eye for detail is essential.

Experience

• Experience of roofing repairs and roofline installation would be highly beneficial but further on the job training is available for successful applicants.
• Strong physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or climbing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A full clean driving licence will be required for this position (over 25 for insurance purposes).
