Housekeeping Assistant Required
The Grange by the Sea is a 15-bedroom country house in Shanklin’s Old Village, running weekend retreats and courses.
We are looking for a reliable and experienced housekeeping assistant to help keep the house, guest bedrooms and public areas clean, welcoming and well-presented.
The role would suit someone who takes pride in their work, notices the details, and is happy working as part of a small, friendly team.
Duties include:
Cleaning bedrooms and bathrooms to a high standard
Cleaning public areas, including sitting rooms, hallways and dining areas
Helping prepare the house before and after retreat weekends
Occasional additional cleaning or housekeeping tasks as needed
The role is for a regular 4 hours per week, with additional hours available at times, especially before and after weekend courses.
Experience in housekeeping, cleaning, hospitality or similar work would be helpful. Reliability, care and high standards are essential.
