Administrator – Senior Leadership Team 

Job Share 12 Hours per week (This would be for fixed days at the end of the week) Ideally, we would require some flexibility, as cover may be required on non -working days. 

Permanent - AP04 £8,467.47 per annum

The Isle of Wight College is looking for a dedicated and organised Administrator to provide high-level support to our Senior Leadership Team (SLT). This is a vital role designed to enhance the efficiency of our college operations through expert administrative coordination and proactive process development. 

About the Role

As the primary administrative point of contact for the SLT, you will ensure the smooth running of leadership activities. Your responsibilities will include: 

Executive Support: Managing diaries, scheduling, and handling internal/external correspondence. 

Meeting Coordination: Booking rooms, preparing agendas, and taking accurate minutes for some meetings. 

Compliance: Maintaining processes to ensure policies and documents are updated in line with regulatory duties. 

Project Assistance: Coordinating tasks and tracking deadlines for various leadership-led projects. 

What we are looking for

We are looking for a motivated and adaptable individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and is confident supporting senior stakeholders.

Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent) 

Business Administration qualification desirable or experience in a similar role

Knowledge of safeguarding, governance, and compliance 

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities 

Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong IT skills 

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities 

Maintains high levels of confidentiality and discretion 

Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused 

Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment 

Professional, flexible, and calm under pressure
