MIDDAY SUPERVISORY ASSISTANT – Based at our main site in Newport
Salary – Hay Grade 1 - £5,532 - £5,619 per annum, actual
Hours per week – 10 hours per week – 2 hours per day (Mon – Fri, 11.30 – 13.30),
term-time only (38 weeks)
As an MSA, you will ensure the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the midday break period, in order to maintain a healthy, clean and safe learning environment for pupils and staff.
Your role will include the supervision of pupils across school premises, laying up and clearing away of eating equipment and feeding individual children as required, whilst encouraging appropriate behaviours and eating skills.
It is essential that applicants possess the following:
- An ability to build good relationships with colleagues and pupils
- A willingness to undertake training as necessary
- An understanding of, and willingness to hold safeguarding at the centre of their practice.
