The Isle of Wight College is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Student Experience Administrator to join our lively Welcome Hub on a maternity cover contract.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of our front-facing Welcome Hub team, you’ll be one of the first people students, parents, carers and visitors meet — and you’ll help make their experience a positive one from the very start.
Your role will include:
- Greeting students and visitors with warmth
- Handling enquiries by phone, email, and face-to-face
- Supporting applications, enrolment and bursary processes
- Keeping records accurate and organised
- Providing initial guidance to new and returning students
No two days will be the same — perfect for someone who enjoys variety and people-focused work!
What You’ll Bring
To shine in this role, you’ll need:
- At least 2 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above
- Level 2 in Customer Service, Team Leading or Business Admin (or willingness to work towards it)
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Confidence using digital systems
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Experience working in a customer-facing environment
- An interest in admissions, student support, or bursaries
