We’re hiring a Coffee Roaster at The Island Tea & Coffee Co.
At The Island Tea & Coffee Co. we don’t just supply freshly roasted coffee across the UK - we live and breathe it. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for someone who shares our passion to join our roasting team.
About the Role
You’ll work alongside our Master Roaster in the roasting team, helping to craft exceptional coffee. Roasting is more than a process — it’s a craft that blends precision, patience, and passion. You’ll need a sharp eye for detail, a methodical mindset, and a love for great coffee.
What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who is:
- Organised, logical, and able to follow structured processes (we’re SALSA accredited)
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn
- Passionate about coffee and excited to grow with us
No prior roasting experience? No problem. We provide full in-house training — all you need is the right attitude and a willingness to learn.
The Details
- Part-time, permanent: 16 hours, 8 hour shifts, 2 days a week Tuesday & Friday (Would consider weekend work if preferred by the successful applicant)
- Pay: £12.74 p/h
- Start Date: 27th June
