Activities Lead
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and organised Activities Lead to join our friendly team. This is a rewarding role where you will make a real difference to the lives of our residents by planning and delivering meaningful, engaging and person-centred activities.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver a varied activities programme tailored to residents’ interests, hobbies and abilities

Organise group activities, entertainment, outings and one-to-one sessions

Produce a monthly newsletter and activities calendar showcasing recent activities and upcoming events

Encourage resident participation and promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction

Build positive relationships with residents, relatives, staff and the local community

Maintain accurate records and activity documentation
-
Support themed events, celebrations and fundraising activities throughout the year

Manage activity resources and maintain organised activity spaces
- Working a rolling week 1/week 2 rota and alternate weekends. Hours 9.30-2.30 with 1 day a week 9.30-4 (Admin day)
Skills & Experience

Good computer skills, including creating newsletters, calendars and activity materials

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compassionate and patient nature

Previous experience in activities, care or customer-focused roles is desirable
