An opportunity has now arisen for an experience data analyst to join our small team of analysts and data quality officers supporting the wide range of work undertaken across Children’s Services.
In this role you will be working with colleagues, using strong technical skills and experience to drive forward process improvement, digitalisation and dashboard development.
Reporting to the Data and Insights Team Manager, you will be responsible for extracting, modelling, analysing, interpreting and reporting data for statutory returns and service specific dashboards. You will use strong data modelling and analytical skills to support the ongoing development of our data reporting infrastructure, and to present data in ways that will support team management and wider data led decision-making.
This role will involve the design, development and delivery of data related projects to multiple customers, supporting the implementation of the Families First Programme and the ongoing develop of social care reporting. You will be a key source of knowledge and expertise across the remit of Children’s Social Care, demonstrating the confidence to express new ideas and to challenge existing ways of working.
You will extract, model and interpret data to support the development of dashboards and reports for teams across social care and other areas as required. Undertaking data modelling, analysis, testing and trouble shotting activities as required to support ongoing system development.
You will be required to communicate with internal stakeholders, clarifying issues, identifying needs, delivering findings and recommendations and seeking feedback as required.
You will play a key role in co-ordinating tasks with other teams, focusing on collaboration, consistency and good communication. Deciding what actions should be taken and how to best use resources to solve problems or issues.
You will lead on the scoping, collation and qualitative and quantitative analysis of data in support of the Families First Programme and participate in project workstreams. Testing data processes and data infrastructure developments to ensure they deliver against our key business requirements.
