The role

We are seeking someone who is passionate about service quality, continuous improvement and ensuring residents receive consistently excellent support. If that sounds like you, we have an opportunity to join us as our Quality Assurance & Contracts Officer.

As Quality Assurance & Contracts Officer, you will provide support with internal auditing, best practice and continuous improvement and the development of a clear involvement and co-production structure, in line with Southern Housing's vision and corporate culture. To support with the contract relationship for supported housing and care stock and liaise with external parties/agencies on matters of compliance and performance.

In this role you'll develop services to meet the needs of the local community ensuring targets and requirements of external regulators/ commissioner are maintained.

This role is based at our Newport office on the Isle of Wight, with travel to local schemes across the Island. A full driving licence, access to a vehicle, and business-use insurance are essential. Please note this is a permanent full time role.

What you’ll need

  • Excellent IT and communication skills
  • Experience of supporting on projects and initiatives
  • Able to communicate clearly, accurately and effectively using a range of different communication channels
  • Able to work flexibly, prioritise and manage competing demands
  • You need to have effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
  • Able to receive and respond to resident feedback and complaints professionally at all times
  • Driven by continuous improvement and play an active role in delivering successful change
