We’re looking for an energetic and commercially minded Sales Executive to help grow our presence within the premium independent retail sector.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing, B-Corp-certified food brand and play a key role in expanding our retail and impact.

About the Role

Working closely with our Retail Sales Manager, you will help develop and grow our retail customer base across the UK’s premium independent food sector.

Our customers include farm shops, delis, premium independents, small multiples and high-end London food halls—all united by a passion for exceptional produce and outstanding food experiences.

The role is largely office-based, working with the sales team on customer relationships, planning and opportunities, but also involves regular travel to visit customers, attend trade shows and support retail events.

Fresh produce is a fast-paced environment, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys variety, thrives under pressure and is motivated by seeing their work translate into real growth. As we are a close-knit team, we believe in supporting each other across departments and stepping in proactively where it matters.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of opportunities, contribute ideas, and actively help shape how our brand grows within the retail sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and develop strong relationships with existing retail customers.
  • Identify and open new retail opportunities across the independent sector.
  • Support the Retail Sales Manager in delivering retail sales strategy.
  • Work with retailers to improve product visibility, merchandising and in-store presence.
  • Coordinate and support trade shows, retail events and promotional activity.
  • Share market insights and feedback from retailers to help shape future opportunities.
  • Help ensure our brand is consistently represented to the highest standard.

Key Skills & Experience

We are open to candidates with a range of experience, but the ideal person will be:

  • Energetic, proactive and confident building relationships.
  • Naturally curious and enquiring with creative commercial thinking.
  • Enjoy identifying trends within the marketplace and sharing feedback.
  • Passionate about food and high-quality produce (not essential, but helpful).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
  • Organised and able to manage multiple conversations and opportunities.
  • Happy to travel nationwide to meet customers and identify new opportunities.
  • Self-motivated and excited to help grow a brand.
  • Experienced in sales, food, retail or hospitality would be beneficial but is not essential for the right candidate.
  • Full Uk Driving Licence Essential - Comfortable driving on UK Maninland.
