About the Role
This is a full-time, varied position of 37.5 hours per week split between our office and supporting our Care Professionals and clients in the community.
Office-based responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the office team with day-to-day care administration.
- Assisting with Client and Care Professional compliance, ensuring records and documentation are accurate and up to date.
- Handling general enquiries by telephone, email and other communication channels.
- Responding professionally and compassionately to clients, Care Professionals, families and health professionals.
- Supporting with office systems, records and data entry.
- Carrying out support visits, supervisions and service reviews.
- Helping to ensure that our clients receive a consistent, professional and well-organised service.
- Providing on-call services approximately one week in six (once fully trained).
- Full training provided on our in-house systems.
Community responsibilities will include:
As part of the role, you will also work in the community supporting clients within their own homes and supporting our Care Professionals to feel comfortable in their job roles.
Duties may include:
- Supporting Care Professionals to remain confident within their role by completing support visits, supervisions and spot checks.
- Building trusting relationships with clients’ families and healthcare professionals.
- Completing client service reviews with a view to progressing to carrying out care consultations.
- Covering care in the community during busy times, staff sickness and annual leave.
About You
- Someone with previous care experience
- Preferably administrative or office experience desirable but not essential as training is provided on our in-house systems for the right candidate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Confidence using computers, email and office-based systems.
- The ability to manage your time and prioritise competing tasks.
- A caring, compassionate and respectful attitude.
- The ability to work independently whilst also being a strong team player.
- A flexible and practical approach to your work.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
- This role is subject to satisfactory references and a clear enhanced DBS
