Job Title: Day Carer 

Location: Victoria House, 22 Nelson Place, Ryde, Isle of Wight PO33 2ET

Job Type: Part Time - 24hrs a week 

Hours: 7 - 7 or 7-2 or 2-7 Shifts 

Pay: £13.00ph 

About Us: Victoria House is a small home from home residential care home. An 1810 victorian house set back from Ryde esplanade with sea views in sight. 

We are a small team and committed to providing the highest standard of care in a warm, supportive, and person-centred environment. 

We believe every resident deserves dignity, respect and a meaningful quality of life. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Assisting residents with personal care (washing, dressing & toileting)

Supporting residents at mealtimes

Helping with mobility and general day to day activities 

Providing companionship and emotional support 

Maintaining accurate care records 

Promoting independence and dignity at all times

About You: 

Genuine passion for caring for others

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

Reliable, patient and empathetic 

Ability to work well as part of a team

Previous experience is desirable but not essential - full training provided
