At Sandown Nursing Home we seek to provide quality care in a homely environment.  Keeping the Home clean and odour free is important to the overall care of the residents.

We are seeking an active person to join the housekeeping team.

This role involves the following tasks:

• Daily cleaning of bedrooms and common parts (lounge, dining room, office)
• Deep cleaning of resident rooms once per month following a cleaning schedule
• Carpet cleaning - training is provided
• Working with colleagues to ensure that the building is clean and odour free
• Engaging with the residents 
• Keeping rooms tidy
• The possibility of learning how to work the in-house laundry to cover sickness and annual leave. 

The role is 25 hours per week worked over 5 days.  The rota covers 7 days per week.

Each shift starts at 9.00am and ends at 2.00pm.

All roles are subject to DBS Disclosure and satisfactory references.
