We have an exciting new opportunity to recruit support workers.

Maximus are expanding further and due to open two new provisions supporting individuals to transition from children’s services to adult services

We are looking for positive, enthusiastic support workers who want to make a difference to the lives of people we support. We take a pro-active, person- centred approach to assist individuals to achieve their goals.

Your role will be to support the individuals to transition into their new home and support with day to day living tasks, as well as supporting and promoting the individuals to achieve their wants, wishes and goals.

No goal is too big, and no goal is unachievable. 

Kindness and care will be at the core of everything you do, it touches upon every aspect of our specialist support.

We don’t mind if you have experience or not as full induction and training provided. We care about all staff as individuals and appreciate that everyone brings with them different skills and experiences.

All you need is:

·       A general interest and compassion for this role

·       Excellent communication skills

·       Ability to work dynamically and flexibly to meet peoples identified outcomes.

·       Local candidates are preferred due to the reduced commute time and familiarity with the local area.

·       Drivers highly desirable.

o   Day and Night shifts available

o   Full time and part time positions available covering Ryde, Sandown, Shanklin & Newport areas.
