Due to retirement we are seeking an experienced and motivated deputy head gardener to support our brilliant team.

Contract
This is a full time and permanent position.
Our business: Established in 2004, we are a well respected garden design, landscape and maintenance company caring for mainly domestic gardens.
The Role
Helping with managing our gardening rounds and our gardening teams. This job is mainly hands on garden care, development and maintenance with some office based work to help organise and support the busy rounds.
The Skills we Need
We are looking for someone with proven experience with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role. You'll need relevant industry qualifications at level 3 or above. Good and pleasant communication skills are essential for this role. It is important to have an interest and knowledge of sustainable gardening practices, as we garden veganically and organically. You'll be driving around the Island on our maintenance rounds and so you must have a clean and full drivers licence, and be able to drive our diesel and E.V vans.
Days and Hours
Hours: 43.75 / week including paid breaks. Working Monday-Friday 8.00- 4.45pm with some of these hours being office based. At times you'll be welcome to work overtime for additional pay at higher rates, but only if you want to. We have paid breaks in the morning and for lunch.

Annual Leave
Up to 34 days paid annual leave. You will start on 29 days (28 statutory days plus 1 day for birthday) and accumulate an extra day per years service up to 5 years.
