Garden Machinery Technician / Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced Garden Machinery Technician / Mechanic to join our busy and friendly workshop on a full-time, permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, diagnosing and repairing a wide range of garden machinery, including lawn mowers, ride-on mowers, hedge trimmers, chainsaws and other two-stroke and four-stroke equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and repair a wide range of garden machinery.

• Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out effective repairs.

• Prepare new machinery for customer collection.

• Maintain accurate service records using our computer system (full training provided).

• Liaise with customers regarding repairs, servicing requirements and estimates.

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high standard of customer service.

Essential Requirements

• Previous workshop experience servicing and repairing garden machinery.

•  Diesel, Petrol and Two Stroke Machine experiance

• Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Flexible approach to workload and changing priorities.

• Basic computer skills (training will be provided).

• Full Clean Driving Licence
