The Role
We’re on the lookout for enthusiastic, energetic and friendly people to join our Aqua Park team at Tapnell Farm Park for the 2026 season.
As an Aquapark Team Member, you’ll be involved in all aspects of the Aqua Park, including:
- Lifeguarding and water supervision
- Delivering safety briefings
- Welcoming and checking in customers at reception
- Supporting school groups, families and activity sessions
No experience? No problem. All training is provided on site.
The details
- Fixed Term: 1st May – 31st August (inclusive)
Hours:
- Average 40 hours per week
- Typically 5 days out of 7
- School holidays may require up to 6 days per week
- Some quieter term weeks may be 4 days per week
Pay Rate:
£13.00 per hour basic rate £14.57 per hour including 12.07% rolled-up holiday pay
Holiday entitlement is paid monthly at 12.07% in addition to the basic hourly rate.
Accommodation: up to 3 live in opportunities if required and available, at an agreed monthly rate.

- Happy completing basic admin and reception tasks
- Passionate about working with young people and school groups
- RLSS Open Water Lifeguard qualified OR meet the course pre-requisites and be willing to undertake training
RLSS OWL pre-requisites include:
- Minimum age: 16
- Ability to swim 400 metres continuously with a degree of urgency
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience working with school groups or residentials
- Previous activity, outdoor, sports or leisure experience

Please note:
- Tapnell Farm is in a remote location, so your own transport is required.
- The offer of employment is conditional upon attending, completing and passing the one day mandatory training during the week commencing 13th April 2026. A contract will only be confirmed once these training requirements are successfully met.
- Training hours will be paid only upon successful completion.
