Main Purpose of the Role
As one of our ice cream vendors in the park, you'll be very much in demand! You will need lots of energy in this busy role to prepare and serve high-quality ice cream across various food outlets at Robin Hill, including the Ice Cream Van and Valley Scoops Ice Cream Hut.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present ice creams to a high standard, following product guidelines and instructions from the Catering Manager.
- Operate tills and handle cash accurately and responsibly.
- Maintain strong knowledge of allergens and ensure correct handling and separation of products and utensils.
- Clean, maintain, and correctly store all equipment and utensils in line with established procedures.
- Prepare customer orders efficiently, keeping wait times to a minimum and delivering excellent customer service.
- Ensure accurate stock rotation and follow strict batch control procedures.
- Complete all opening and closing checks and maintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene throughout each shift.
- Maintain excellent personal hygiene to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.
- Safeguard all company stock and equipment; report any issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Be knowledgeable about key park activities and events to assist customers.
- Take personal responsibility for health and safety, your own and that of others.
- Act as a positive ambassador for Robin Hill at all times.
- This role requires adherence to all food safety procedures and compliance with relevant legislation.
