We’re looking for a Lead Public Realm Maintenance Officer to join our Parks & Countryside team. In this vital role, working in the Public Realm across the Isle of Wight, you will be ensuring our recreation areas, open spaces, and public realm assets are safe, well-maintained, and welcoming for all.
Your day-to-day tasks will include performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of our facilities and equipment. Your expertise will help to create and maintain the parks and open spaces that our community can enjoy.

What We're Looking For:
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- A commitment to quality service and attention to detail
- Substantial experience in property or facilities management.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with contractors and other council departments.
- A full driving licence and willingness to respond to out-of-hours emergencies.
