As a Production Support Operative you'll lead by example, coordinating your team to achieve quality, productivity and performance targets while keeping production running smoothly. What You'll Be Doing
You'll play a key role in keeping production performing at its best by:
- Own your area: Lead the day-to-day running and performance of your production area, keeping quality, capacity and productivity on track.
- Lead the team: Coordinate, coach and motivate your team to hit targets and maintain high standards, while supporting their development.
- Spot it. Solve it. Improve it: Identify issues early, solve problems and champion Lean, Kaizen and continuous improvement across your area.
- Keep things moving: Manage labour, consumables, equipment and workflows to keep production running smoothly and minimise disruption.
- Stay connected: Work closely with other Production Support Operatives and shifts to share best practice, balance resources and keep communication flowing.
- Know your numbers: Keep on top of KPIs, visual management and weekly performance updates, using data to spot trends and opportunities.
- Set the standard: Maintain a safe, clean and organised area and escalate recurring issues when needed.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- Experience coordinating or overseeing a team of people
- Previous experience within a fast paced environment
