Job Summary:
IFPL Users We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented individual with a passion for keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. We’re looking for a flexible person to join us a Supply Chain Support Specialist providing a strong bridge of communication between inventory and purchasing.
Key Role & Responsibilities:
- Monitor safety stock levels and analyse historical inventory usage and future forecast expectations to identify trends and place purchase orders to maintain stock levels on common part categories.
- Perform regular cycle counts across both IFPL and Cobalt sites, reconciling physical counts with system records to batch level.
- Investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent future inaccuracies with support of the Inventory and Logistics Controller.
- Other Ad Hoc tasks as requested by Supply Chain or Stores team.
- Contribute to the improvement and maintenance of stock accuracy KPIs.
- Manage and maintain stock levels of all consumables (including printer cartridges, packaging and labels) and placing purchase orders to reorder as necessary.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Assist Supply Chain team in purchasing tasks including generating supplier and sub con reports, reconciling stock held at suppliers and sub-cons, component BOM scrubs and part availability checks as required.
- Support Stores team on Works Order kitting of jobs for both internal and external purposes as required.
- Support Logistics team in shipping and customs as required.
Process Improvement:
- Continuously review and suggest improvements of inventory management processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to streamline inventory workflows.
- Support on projects toward packaging improvements.
