We are seeking a Trainee Production Assembly Technician to join our team, assisting in the assembly of transducers and electrical sensor systems. This role would suit a hands-on individual with excellent attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly of transducers and electrical sensor systems.
- Strain gauging
- Following engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and quality procedures.
- Soldering electrical terminations and wiring components.
- Conducting visual inspections and basic testing of assembled products.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
- Working collaboratively as part of the production team.
Essential Requirements
- Hands-on approach with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, conscientious, and quality-focused.
· Basic computer literacy skills, including the ability to use standard software applications and enter production or quality-related data accurately.
Desirable Skills and Experience
Training will be provided; however, the following would be advantageous:
- Previous experience soldering electrical terminations in a production or assembly environment.
- Experience working within a manufacturing or production assembly setting.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
