Location: Our Head Office in Freshwater

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Full time (37.5 hours a week) but we would consider flexible/part time

Every year, 100 billion new items of clothing are produced whilst a truck full of clothing is burned, or buried in landfill every second. Our mission is to help brands end waste. To do this, we’ve created the world's first ever closed-loop, circular supply chain which allows us to make new products from waste material right from the beginning, and it’s a game changer.

Words don’t change the world, action does. That’s why we are working on the front line of fast fashion to make the world more sustainable. This growth has resulted in the creation of the role of Junior Graphic Designer within our Creative team.

Being a designer at Teemill is more than just making something look cool. By breaking the rules and not sticking to convention, we aim to inspire our customers with every piece of content we produce.

You will collaborate with teams on a variety of key projects across the company, bringing fresh creative ideas and delivering high-quality creative content. Projects can range from producing inspiring ad creative, building e-commerce stores of high-profile brands on Teemill or delivering exciting content that engages users across the Teemill platform.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with account managers and senior graphic designers to produce high quality, on-trend and commercially successful prints for a range of products such as jerseywear, homeware, art prints and stationery.
  • Building and maintaining ecommerce stores primarily for our VIP partnerships. Ensuring that the presentation of stores is of high-quality correlates with client brand guidelines and incorporates merchandising best practices to deliver a high conversion rate.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to produce high-quality content for ads, newsletters for VIP partnerships.
  • Contribute graphic design content to the wider Teemill platform. This can range from pitch pages, website content, marketing assets and content for user design libraries.
  • Weekly reporting on success and failures on projects.

What we’re looking for

  • Either an undergraduate degree in a relevant creative discipline or experience working in a commercial design role.
  • Sound knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite- primarily Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Able to demonstrate versatility in creative content styles and work with brand guidelines
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong affinity with layout and an eye for what looks good across different media.
  • A confident team player who is able to clearly communicate ideas, issues and solutions.
  • Is deadline oriented and demonstrates exemplary organisational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take on board feedback.

To apply it is very important that you attach a portfolio demonstrating your best work across multiple projects, along with your C.V.
