Key Responsibilities:
• To plan and deliver lessons to a range of classes, maintaining a high-quality student learning experience
• To prepare and contextualise the delivery of lessons and continuously assess learner progress in class (formative assessment), giving feedback and maintaining appropriate records
• To formally assess, giving appropriate feedback (written and oral) and maintaining records of students’ progress and development
• To carry out Internal Verification as required
• Undertaking academic tutorial duties, supporting students on an individual basis through academic difficulties
• Participating in and organising extracurricular activities, such as outings, social activities and sporting events
• Participating in and organising departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole College training events
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to secure and maintain successful relationships
• Ensure all related administration is completed on time and to the required standard.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Minimum Level 3 maths qualification or equivalent, although a Level 5 or Level 6 relevant qualification would be desirable
• Level 2 Qualifications in English
• A relevant teaching qualification or willingness to work towards
• An innovative thinker with the ability to engage and enthuse our students
• Good planning, preparation and organisation skills
